About the author/artist:
Sherry Hayes, having spent her youth surrounded by forests and wetlands teeming with wildlife, has a lifelong passion for what she fondly refers to as – ‘All Things Nature’.
Through her art and now children’s storybooks, Sherry brings Canada’s wild spaces and its precious inhabitants to life. She has become a voice for vulnerable at-risk species and spaces and has been acknowledged by several prominent environmental and nature advocates.
