BOOK COMMENTS & REVIEWS
We had a wonderful visit from Miss Sherry. From the very first email, Miss Sherry was efficient, professional, and incredibly courteous. Coordinating the visit with GCP preschool was easy and seamless. When she arrived, she brought her children’s books we had purchased and thoughtfully included beautiful inscriptions, which made them extra special for the children at GCP preschool.
During the reading, her demeanor with the children was warm, positive, and engaging. She captured their attention right away and created such a wonderful experience for our students. It was clear she truly enjoys connecting with young readers and sharing her love of Nature.
We are so grateful for her visit and the joy she brought to our children. From Jeff the salamander, to introducing the beautiful wonders they can find throughout Hamilton. We can’t wait to welcome her back for another reading in the future!”

Hello Sherry,
Very well done!!
I think you captured everything beautifully. The drawings make you smile and you’ve composed a fascinating story about a salamander that is not an easy task. Woodlots, wetlands, they were all new to me after I moved back here. The way that you have connected the salamander, an endangered species with how they appear and live is remarkable. I would think that young children would be quite captivated by the story and want to learn more.
It is great that we have you around to focus on important nature goings on that wouldn’t normally be in our consciousness. I think Sherry, that you are waking people up to serious issues in a loving and caring way. The interconnectedness of the nature scenes and the global images make it such a universal theme.
Great to have a copy of the book and your special message.
Just want to add to keep on for the love of nature!
